Zebra Grass, Miscanthus sinensis ‘zebrinus’, is a gardener’s favorite for many reasons. It is very hardy and drought tolerant. The foliage is emerald green with a distinctive striping that usually develops in early to mid-summer. Silvery white plumes appear above the foliage in late summer making for an impressive show. Zebra Grass is an excellent and generally easy way to brighten a landscape without the constant watering most annuals require.
