- Echeveria Dondo is a beautiful succulent with broad, flat, and fleshy green leaves with a tip that comes to a sharp point. The tips of the leaves often turn bright red after prolonged exposure to bright sunlight. Within the proper condition, they will bloom and rise above the foliage on several stalks from the center of the rosette.
- Like most Echeverias, Echeveria Dondo requires full sun and partial shade to maintain color and shape. It can be placed outdoors in spring and fall to get full sunlight. Shade is required in summer to avoid sunburn. In winter, protection from frost is needed.
- To ensure the health of succulents, they need a porous, well-draining cactus soil mix to live in. Succulents require little watering but don’t like to sit in wet soil. The best way of watering is the soak-and-dry method. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry. And they need to be repotted during the warm season, click here to learn why and how to repot succulents.
