Aeonium ‘Medusa’ is a variety of Aeonium ‘Velour’. This succulent is named ‘Medusa’ because its original greenish-yellow and pink leaves develop black streaks when exposed to sunlight. The black streaks are arranged in a rosette of leaves, resembling Medusa’s hair that turned into snakes in Greek mythology.

Sun/Temperature: Aeonium ‘Medusa’ thrives in full sun, perfect for outdoor placement on a sunny place . It can be left outside during the spring and fall if it gets the right light and temperature. Remember to protect it from the summer heat by placing it in a semi-shade. Aeonium ‘Medusa’ is comfortable in temperatures ranging from 60-80°F, but it should be brought indoors during the winter to avoid freezing temperatures below 40°F.
